A Very Special Day!

Why is it such a special day? Well, for one thing, it's Easter! And another...it's my husband's birthday! :D

Happy Easter friends, and Happy Birthday Tyler! I hope you all have a great day!
He is Risen! Alleluia!

What a Day

Man, what a day today! I started off the day at the DMV (ugh, at least I made an appointment), found out there were crazy tornadoes in my home town (Dallas), ran errands for Easter/Tyler's birthday with the mother-in-law, and got Instagram for my android phone. That's right friends, there is now instagram for those of us who have Android! :D

I'm thanking God this evening for keeping my family safe through all of the craziness, but  remembering and praying for those who were not as fortunate.

I'm so excited for Easter/Tyler's birthday. I think it's going to be a great day with his family. A long day, but fun, with lots of delicious food and good company.
I also can't wait for Tyler to get his birthday presents! He has some really good ones coming! :D I would tell you what they are, but if I did, it would be the day he decided to read my blog...haha.

I hope you all had a good day. Stay safe friends!

Giving Thanks a Bit Early

Normally, I would have a Wedding Wednesday post, but since I am leaving for Spain tomorrow (woohoo), I thought I would give you all some updates and write about Thanksgiving.
Yesterday was my birthday. Happy 24? haha. I feel old, yet very young at the same time. Some of the neighbor girls and I went out for coffee and a late lunch/snack. My wonderful hubby got me flowers and we to a nice Italian dinner. We got dressed up and everything. So much fun :). It was so yummy.
Anyway, Happy (early) Thanksgiving everyone! I have so much to be thankful for...my wonderful husband, friends, and family. I'm also thankful for this amazing opportunity to live in a foreign country, this amazing opportunity to travel all over Europe, our new friends, our great apartment...the list could go on and on. Like I said, I have a lot to be thankful for. :D

What are you all thankful for? Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you have a great day and have lots of delicious food.
